Eain Yow, Sivasangari storm into Hong Kong Club Open finals

PETALING JAYA: Ng Eain Yow and S. Sivasangari stormed into the finals of the Hong Kong Squash Club Open on Friday (Nov 24) after stunning their respective higher ranked opponents.

Eain Yow toppled Egypt's top seed Mohamed ElSherbini 11-9, 11-5, 11-4 in the men's last four match.

Eain Yow will take on either ElSherbini's compatriot Aly Abou Eleinen or Spain's Iker Pajares in the final on Saturday (Nov 25).

Earlier, world No. 22 Sivasangari had pulled the rug under England's world No. 12 Sarah-Jane Perry in the women's event with an equally impressive 11-8, 11-9, 11-6 victory.

Sivasangari will face either Egypt's reigning world junior champion Amina Orfi or England's Georgina Kennedy in the final.
