This November and December, Element Kuala Lumpur is joining forces with The Vegetarian Butcher in launching “Meatless Mania: The World Tour” at Trace Restaurant and Bar.

Priding itself in its mission to offer a complete and delicious alternative to meat made of soy protein, Dutch-founded The Vegetarian Butcher allows diners to indulge in guilt-free, meatless products with taste and texture comparable to the real deal, yet emitting a significantly smaller carbon footprint.

Hotel executive chef Taib Ridhwan and senior sous chef Hasrul Hawari have curated a special menu using The Vegetarian Butcher products that pay tribute to seven distinctive cities where Element Hotels are located, setting diners off on a global meatless tour that promises no compromise on taste and texture.

The menu offers Nasi Lemak Rendang from Kuala Lumpur; Meatball Noodle Bakso from Bali, Indonesia; Aussie Big Breakfast from Melbourne, Australia; Zha Jiang Main (tossed noodles with plant-based meat sauce) from Beijing, China; Meatless Shawarma from Dubai, the United Arab Emirates; as well as New Yorker Thin-Crust Pizza from New York City and Chilli Con Carne with Nachos from New Mexico, the US.

The dishes are priced from RM34nett each.

Diners looking to pair meals with a healthier beverage choice can opt for kombucha produced by homegrown Malaysian brand WonderBrew.

WonderBrew’s sustainable approach also echoes Element Kuala Lumpur’s, with its circular economy practice in producing their drinks to reduce wastage.
