Optimism remains for Langkawi tourism sector


THE latests figures are a bit deflating for tourism players in Langkawi. In comparing the figures recorded last year, the number of tourists coming to Langkawi has slightly decreased since September.

Langkawi Tourism Association chief executive officer Zainudin Kadir was among the first to raise the alarm, publicly saying things were not turning out well leading up to the Deepavali festive break.
