JESUS IS ENOUGH......

JESUS IS ENOUGH!!

About a year ago my husband and I revamped our Private Facebook Group called Hungry Hearts…with teachings that POINT PEOPLE BACK to JESUS!!  Our goal should be to always point people back to Christ….and not to point them to a man, to a philosophy, to a theology, to a man-made self-help doctrine or to a building…but to get them to FOLLOW JESUS ONLY!!!  Today, I attended a service where the visiting Pastor said he had an encounter with Jesus that confirmed this word…and that he felt he was supposed to point people back to Jesus.

I LOVE when JESUS confirms the words he speaks to you...even a year later!!

I believe when the Lord started speaking to me about getting back to the “simplicity of the gospel” and what it actually meant to FOLLOW JESUS, He was just confirming what He came originally to do.  We are meant to be reconciled back to our place IN HIM.

A while back I started writing and sharing on my blog articles titled, “Jesus Said It”.  The reason I felt to do this is that we in the Body of Christ have started to listen to other words than the words of our Lord Jesus.  I’ve asked my Christian friends that if Jesus were to walk through the wall where you are today, and look you eyeball to eyeball, with those “fiery eyes of love” and say “This is what I want you to do, and this is what I don’t want you to do” ….would you DO IT??

Are we TRUE disciples of JESUS?  Or are we disciples of men?  What WORDS are you listening to?  Whom are you following?  And…are you obeying?

John 8:31-32 - 31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

At the end of my life, when I stand before my Father in the most crushing words that I DON’T want to hear are…

Matthew 7:21-24 -

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

Do you “KNOW” the Lord?  We see here in these words that those who HEAR the words of  the Lord and obeys them is a wise man.  We also see how we define those that “KNOW HIM”….

1 John 2:3-6 -

3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

We are to HEAR what Jesus said, and DO what He says.

It is not even about if you prophesied, cast out devils, and done many wonderful works (Matthew 7:22).  Are you HEARING the words of  Jesus??

I suggest we get back into our BIBLES (the TRUTH) and REAL WORDS of the Lord, and just READ IT for what it actually says, and not try and twist and turn the words to fit some sermon or 3-points we are trying to make, to not take HIS WORD out of context or interrupt the complete context of a letter HE was writing…but to actually READ the WORD for what it says!!  And then, you or I do not get to pick and choose to believe or do what WE want…but to actually FOLLOW CHRIST and DO what HE SAYS for us to DO!!

Jesus Christ already gave us ALL the ministry of reconciliation and commanded us to GO….so….did you actually HEAR???

2 Corinthians 5:18-21 -18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Get back to the “words in red”, so to speak, START THERE!! Start in the Gospels of Jesus and READ IT, not to sermonize or point people to you… but to SEE and HEAR JESUS!!!  To KNOW HIM!!

This…..is….really….pretty simple.  Jesus already did the work for you….HE has already conquered death, hell and the grave….you just get to POINT others back to HIM….to JESUS!!!!!  How glorious and preach the “simplicity of the gospel” to those around you!!

Be a TRUE DISCIPLE…be a GOD-PLEASER and NOT a Man-Pleaser today!!

JESUS…………..IS…………ENOUGH!!!

JESUS SAID IT.....

I have noticed that I have not written on my BLOG for about 4-months...WOW!!  I have been so very blessed and honored to be asked by a prominent member of our city to be a part of a program that helps those get into treatment recovery programs....instead of putting them in jail...we offer help.  This has had so many different and rewarding days and it takes the complete love and strength of Jesus for me to accomplish any of it.  Without Christ...I can do NO THING!!

I wanted to share one area of study in the Bible that really moved my heart ...and it is in Matthew 25:31-46.  This speaks of what will happen at Christ's return.  As we begin to read the opening of the story, JESUS is SPEAKING and  it goes as follows:

Matthew 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

So we see here that Jesus comes in all his glory and all the holy angels and as the nations are gathered before him...Jesus seperates them and on His right hand he sets the SHEEP...and on His left hand he sets the GOATS.

Then as I've said before, if JESUS speaks we ought to listen...

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

So we see here where JESUS SAID...to the SHEEP..."Come and inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world"....and Jesus also said they were BLESSED.

So we have to really want to be not only in a mode to receive a blessing from Jesus but also to receive our inheritance.

The sheep also known as "the rightous" in verse 37..were confused and asked Jesus when they had fed the hungry, gave the thristy a drink, took in a stranger, gave away some clothes, and visited the sick and those in prison...and Jesus again SAID:....

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

So here is a VERY life-impacting verse...that WHATEVER we do to others, we DO TO JESUS.

I have to ask....are we really grasping the enormity of this statment?  When we are ugly to others, or choose not to give to those in need, or put others on the street....do we get what we have just done??  WOW!

Jesus also goes on to say to the GOATS...

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

Jesus cast these GOATS from his presence into "everlasting fire"...and he also called them "CURSED".  Again these GOATS were confused as to when the had NOT GIVEN to JESUS food, water and had not gave hime shelter, or clothing and did not visit him while sick or in prision....and Jesus reminded them....

45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

So again...let us remember to take very seriously where our "HEART MOTIVE" is....are we giving to all those that are in need?  And let us remember that we are called to "BECOME LOVE" to all those within our sphere of influence.  Jesus did not really put any conditions on WHOM we feed or give something to drink.

Let us NEVER be guilty of turning away anyone that has even the simplest need for food, water, clothing or shelter....because there was also a FINAL statment from JESUS....and HE said to these GOATS....

46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

LET US ALWAYS REMEMBER....when "you have done it unto of of the least of these my BRETHREN", you have done it to JESUS!!

WALK IN LOVE....give to those in need.

BECOME LOVE!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2018!!

We WELCOME IN the New Year 2018!!!

My WORD for this year is simply...."GENUINE"!  I long to be completely sincere and GENUINE in my personal relationship with Jesus and with my family and friends.  There is noting that I love more than people who are REAL and themselves around me, so I hope to be that to others!

As I continue to HEAR the WORDS OF JESUS...and let them resonate in my heart...it brings me to such a place of PEACE and REST.  I have found that in the season , I am seeking to grow personally and really listen to the Lord.  I feel that I will continue to trust in the "SIMPLICITY of the GOSPEL"!!  We (myself included in the we) have made this SO MUCH MORE complicated than it has to be, and in the desire of making ourselves seem so much more "super spiritual" and "knowledegable" we have turned to eating from the "Tree of KNOWLEDGE of Good and Evil" instead of the "Tree of LIFE" (JESUS CHRIST)!!!  I am on a journey to really HEAR and OBEY the WORDS OF JESUS...because if I am to "KNOW HIM" I believe this is CRUCIAL in my personal walk with HIM!!!  My Heart's Cry is "OH, that I may KNOW HIM"....even deeper than ever.

I once looked one of my very dear friends in the eye and said, "IF JESUS HIMself were to WALK THROUGH THAT WALL, and look you dead in the eye and say your name and say I want you to DO THIS, and to NOT DO THAT, would you do it?"  Her answer, as she is a mighty woman of God, was "Of course".  I said, "But unfortunately WE are NOT DOING THAT!". We have his words to us already in the four Gospel's and the entire BIBLE.   I have been on this quest to RE-READ the words that "JESUS SAID"...and really "HEAR THEM"!!! Not filter those words through my denominational mindsets, organizational 'articles of faith', or other beliefs that I have picked up on by listenting even to the wrong Christian leaders that say alot of things that tickle my ears through their teachings, conferences or books....but READ WHAT The Bible is saying from even Genesis to Revelation.  The HOLY BIBLE--ALL of it POINTS to CHRIST!!! So let us stop putting other IDLE words and things on the throne of heart--and REPLACE it with JESUS CHRIST who should ALWAYS HAVE FIRST PLACE on the THRONE OF OUR HEART!!  IDOLATRY in any form is still a sin.  Let us become GOD-pleasers and NOT man-pleasers!  Let us ALWAY PREACH JESUS CHRIST and the Kingdom--and stop preaching all those other things that only tend to make people SO DEPENDANT upon US and MEN and not UPON JESUS CHRIST!!  Let us stop preaching things that DO NOT POINT PEOPLE TO JESUS!!

JESUS died to redeem us back to our rightful place as sons and daughter's of GOD!  HE is our AUTHORITY OVER US...let us allow JESUS to take his rightful place and be our Apostle and HIGH PRIEST.  There is only one mediator between GOD and Man, that is JESUS CHRIST.  If Jesus is sitting at the right hand on the throne making intercession for us, why do we feel that man can usurp that position?  It bogles my mind how we have taken SOOOO many things out of this gospel and twisted it to fit our own plan and agenda, to promote ourselves and we have stopped promoting JESUS!!!

My prayer for this NEW YEAR is that we allow JESUS back into HIS BODY, HIS BUILDING, not built with man's hands, we are the TEMPLE...and allow HIM to REIGN in HIS rightful place once again!!

LET us HEAR and OBEY the WORDS OF JESUS....and NO OTHER!!

Let us LOVE GOD and LOVE PEOPLE ....the two GREATEST COMMANDMENTS we can keep!!

Let us STOP all the showboating, perfomance and grandstanding so others think we are so spiritual!

Let us STOP all the backbiting and devouring HIS BODY!! If you do it to "the least of these" you've DONE IT TO JESUS!!

Let us be a WITNESS of the LOVE and LIGHT of GOD wherever we go and to whomever we come in contact with!!

Let us not be guilty of sowing division and strife, but walk in UNITY with our brothers and sisters in CHRIST!

Let us TRULY be "GENUINE" in our LOVE for others and FOR HIM!

I pray THIS YEAR will be the YEAR we ALL PRESS IN to KNOW HIM.....JESUS CHRIST!!

Generational Curses --- DEBUNKED

The teaching of “Generational Curses” has been taught mainly by those who have taken on the role of ministers of “deliverance”.  This teaching, as most, have been taken “out of context” as one verse, instead of the complete.  We as believers now live under a new covenant “grace”, but even under the old covenant, “the law” we find where God spoke to the nation of Israel as a whole on some issues.  Let us just read what the Lord God says about it….

Exodus 20:3-6--Thou shalt have no other gods before me.Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;  And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Here we read that GOD spoke all these words and reminded them to have no other gods or idols, to not worship or serve them….for THIS disobedience, he would visit the iniquity on the 3rd & 4th generation.  HOWEVER, GOD would show mercy to those that “LOVE HIM” and “KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS”.    SO…UNLESS you are worshipping and serving other gods, you are NOT UNDER A CURSE.  It’s pretty clear here.

God never left the Israelites (a nation) without hope or mercy…HE is LOVE and MERCY…which always overshadows judgment.  It seems that God dealt with the nation of Israel as a whole entire nation…(i.e.: Joshua 7:1, 11-15).

But we also read about his hope and forgiveness that was made available to them in the following verses if they choose to confess:

Leviticus 26:39-42--

39 And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies' lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.40 If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;41 And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:42 Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.

Numbers 14:19-21--

19 Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.20 And the Lord said, I have pardoned according to thy word:21 But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord.

There are some that teach that a generational curse is only handed down to non-Christian family members; once a person accepts Christ, he is free.  They also teach that a child can be inhabited by the “family demon”, which can remain dormant until awakened by sin.  The cure is to repent of sin and remove the demon.

Let us dig further into the BIBLE:

Jeremiah 31:29-34

29 In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge.30 But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Here we see where the children are not punished for their father’s evil and natural character…that each one will die for his own sin.  We also have an introduction to the NEW Covenant where the “law” will be written in our hearts, and we will know God and HE will forgive our iniquity and remember our sin NO MORE!!

And the latest and greatest explanation to me is the follow scriptures:….

Ezekiel 18--

18:1The word of the Lord came unto me again, saying,What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge?As I live, saith the Lord God, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel.Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right,And hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour's wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman,And hath not oppressed any, but hath restored to the debtor his pledge, hath spoiled none by violence, hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment; He that hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase, that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgment between man and man,Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord God.10 If he beget a son that is a robber, a shedder of blood, and that doeth the like to any one of these things,11 And that doeth not any of those duties, but even hath eaten upon the mountains, and defiled his neighbour's wife,12 Hath oppressed the poor and needy, hath spoiled by violence, hath not restored the pledge, and hath lifted up his eyes to the idols, hath committed abomination,13 Hath given forth upon usury, and hath taken increase: shall he then live? he shall not live: he hath done all these abominations; he shall surely die; his blood shall be upon him.14 Now, lo, if he beget a son, that seeth all his father's sins which he hath done, and considereth, and doeth not such like,15 That hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, hath not defiled his neighbour's wife,16 Neither hath oppressed any, hath not withholden the pledge, neither hath spoiled by violence, but hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment,17 That hath taken off his hand from the poor, that hath not received usury nor increase, hath executed my judgments, hath walked in my statutes; he shall not die for the iniquity of his father, he shall surely live.18 As for his father, because he cruelly oppressed, spoiled his brother by violence, and did that which is not good among his people, lo, even he shall die in his iniquity.19 Yet say ye, Why? doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live.20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.22 All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord God: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.25 Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal?26 When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die.27 Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive.28 Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.29 Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of the Lord is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are not your ways unequal?30 Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord God. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.31 Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

SOOOOOO…………we clearly see here that we are all responsible for our own spiritual walk…the SON does not inherit death because of what his father has done.

Can we please understand that we are NOW in a new covenant…where ALL things are made new…and where the BLOOD OF JESUS is enough to REDEEM us back to LIFE in CHRIST…back to SONSHIP with our heavenly Father!

More on living a LIFE IN CHRIST…FULL OF GRACE and MERCY.

God took away the old covenant and established the new …

Hebrews 10:9-10--

Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

IT IS FINISHED….Let us labor to “REST” in the finished work of JESUS CHRIST!!  HE IS ENOUGH!!

JESUS SAID IT....

I have not really made the time to write on my blog for a couple of months...and it seems that sometimes ALL of my life's obligations and demands get in the way and before I know it...poof...too much time has went by, so now I have so much in my heart to download....but I will start with some things that I believe are the top priority.

My heart's cry lately is ...."Oh that I may "KNOW HIM"!! And for me this is a daily process, and as I get to know HIM, I get to know the things in me that need adjustment.  If I truly call myself a "disciple and follower of JESUS"...am I walking as HE said to walk, and listening and OBEYING what HE said to do?  For me...just "calling" myself a Christian or disciple means nothing unless my actions back up my words....I always say ...."WALK YOUR TALK"!!

When I began this journey to re-read the "words of Jesus"...and I mean REALLY READ it...I began to see some things that HE told us to do and some things that HE told us to NOT DO.  So I guess my first question to ALL of us is....when we HEAR HIS SAYINGS and WARNINGS...are we APPLYING them to our lives??  OR...are we JUST IGNORING what Jesus said to do and instead incorporating our own man made traditions, agenda's, motives and even duties of how we "DO CHRISTIANITY" based on some denominational organization's "articles of faith" or rules, based on what we've learned in a University that sometimes is also governed or controled by man made beliefs and doctrines, or even based on our own selfish wants or needs for affirmation from a title, building or people?  ....OR....are we REALLY going to DO what JESUS SAID to DO???  Let us take a beat...a pause...a moment to really REFLECT on what we are doing and why??  If what we are doing does not ALIGN with not only the WORDS of JESUS, but also the HEART of JESUS...I would not hesitate to say that maybe we need to take this seriously and STOP?  There is SOOO MUCH we can really take away and apply from the words of JESUS.

But...back to the "KNOWING HIM" goal.  HOW do we know that we "KNOW HIM"??

1 JOHN 2:3-6  -  And hereby we do know that we KNOW HIM, if we keep his commandments.  He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.  But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.  He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

These verses state it pretty clearly that IF we KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS we know that we KNOW HIM...and that we should also walk as he walk....to "follow in HIS footsteps"...and do what HE did!  It really states it pretty clearly.  So I guess the thing would be to HEAR the sayings of JESUS and DO THEM.

There is a warning in Matthew 7:21-23...

Matthew 7: 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

We see here that NOT EVERYONE will ENTER into the kingdom of heaven...BUT he that DOES the will of the Father.  IT is very sobering to also read that there will be those that are prophesying, doing deliverance ministry and operating in "wonderful works" or performing miracles....and the Father will say....DEPART FROM ME...HE even says they "WORK INIQUITY" (wickedness).   WHAT?? WOW!!! Allow that to really "sink in"!!  You mean to say that when we see this, it is not always something pleasing to the heart of GOD??

We will continue to read on in Matthew 7:24 what JESUS SAID....

Matthew 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

That means that IN ORDER to DO what HE SAYS....first it requires us to HEAR HIS SAYINGS!!  So let us NOT take for granted and ignore what JESUS SAID!!  We also read on in Matthew 7....

Matthew 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.  26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: ‚Äč27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

This says that if we do not build upon the rock...and we build upon sand (unstable)--that "GREAT" will the fall be.  So we want to START first by BUILDINIG a FIRM FOUNDATION (on the rock) that will weather ALL the storms of life!  This starts FIRST by HEARING and DOING what JESUS SAID to DO and NOT TO DO!!

I mean really...if JESUS walked into your living room (HE can do that)...and looked YOU specifically in the eyes and said STOP IT...would you?? If JESUS also specifically gave you a command or direction....while he is right up in your face...would you DO IT??

THEN WHY....ARE WE NOT DOING IT NOW??  We have HIS WORDS right before us...maybe it's time to revisit "the words in red"??  Please let us not ignore the words of Jesus.

When you are doing "official ministry" or have a "program"...let us remember ALL the words of Jesus.

Let us LOVE one another as HE loved us...(John 13:34)...not love one another as we see fit.

John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

It says that all men will know we are a "DISCIPLE" if we LOVE ONE ANTOHER.  Let us NOT BAN someone from our program or ministry because they didn't meet "our expectations"!  Let us give to all those that have need, not to get something in return (praise or gratititude).  Let us  remember the "LEAST OF THESE"....in our daily walk.  Let us be the LIGHT and SHOW THE LOVE OF CHRIST to ALL!!

As I continue to read...for me ....it is serious that I NOT IGNORE these words in red...the words of JESUS!!  Let us read what HE says in Matthew 25....

37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. 41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Let us remember that whatever we do to others...what some may consider "the least of these"...we DO IT TO HIM...JESUS!  I want to be one of those that at HIS return...will be considered a "sheep on the right" that will be "blessed of the Father and inherit the kingdom and life eternal.  I DO NOT WANT to be a "goat on the left" that HE will say to them "DEPART YE CURSED into everlasting fire and punishment"!

When we come to the realization that JEUSUS came to break us out of a judgemental "pious religion" and bring a new covenant...a REFORMATION (Hebrews 9-10) of how HE wanted us to live and exhibit the heart of the Father and demonstrate the kingdom wherever we go.

Let us continue to HEAR the words of JESUS and to DO THEM!!!  Let us speak life and encouragement to others...not using our little pointy finger and poking it in their chest to remind them of how much a "sinner" they are (all things are made new).  Let us demonstrate the unselfish, sacrificial, unconditional LOVE of the FATHER...the LOVE that DIED for us.

More..."JESUS SAID it" to follow...stay tuned ...

WALK IN LOVE!!!
