JESUS SAID IT....

I have been on a search for "TRUTH"...HA...the words of TRUTH!  Oh that I may "KNOW HIM"...TRUTH!  Truth is not a theology, doctrine, or rules of the "knowledge of good and evil"  Truth is a WHOM...JESUS!  Colossians 1:28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:.

We hear a lot of teaching today about "Identity Crisis" in the Body...because usually through tragic circumstances or whispers of the enemy, people have been led to believe a lie of who they are "IN CHRIST".  But I believe in order to know who we are In Christ, we have to "Know Christ" and who He is ...his essesnce and every detail of the fullness of the Godhead.

If we re-read the New Testament without a religious filter, and look for the identity of Jesus in the scriptures, we will read that JESUS is always pointing people back to Himself.  Interesting that Jesus would build his church on the revelation that HE is THE CHRIST, the son of the living God!  In Matthew 16:13, we see where Jesus asked a quetion,...13 When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?”.  Simon Peter answered it with the revelation he had of who Jesus was... 16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”  In a lot of stories we see where JESUS was always declaring himself .... John 6:35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.  That when an evil and "faithless" generation "doubted" who He was...he stated that all that is WRITTEN in THIS BOOK will be all that you need to believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God... John 20:31 but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.  No other "MIRACLE" other than the "Ascended Christ" was needed to "BELIEVE".  Jesus went into places that NO RELIGIOUS zelot or Pharisee would dare go, to meet a woman at a well.  This woman was sitting in front of TRUTH! She said in John 4:25 The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming” (who is called Christ). “When He comes, He will tell us all things.”  Again, we see Jesus pointing people to HIMSELF as He responded to her ... John 4:26 Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He."

So as we continue to SEARCH and SEEK after TRUTH, Jesus will continually point to Himself, that HE is ALL WE NEED.  Colossians 2:For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.  The Holy Spirit will continue to point to JESUS!  Jesus is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE!!  John 14:Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

So if you begin to question who you are, first discover who HE is...and IN HIM you will be complete.

If you wonder "what" to preach...you've gotten off track...PREACH HIM!!!  Colossians 1:28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

Paul said it best when he spoke in Philippians 3:Yet indeed I also count ALL things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; 10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, 11 if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.

OH THAT I MAY "KNOW HIM"!!!  This is my heart's cry...

"Christ is:  your Shepherd, your Advocate, your Mediator, your Bridgroom, your Conqueror, your Lion, your Lamb, your sacrifice, your manna, your smitten Rock, your living water, your food, your drink, your good and abundant land, your dwelling place, your Sabbath, your new moon, your Jubilee, your new wine, your feast, your aroma, your anchor, your wisdom, your peace, your comfort, your Healter, your joy, your glory, your power, your strength, your wealth, your victory, your redemption, your Prophet, your High Priest, your kinsman redeemer, your teacher, your guide, your liberator, your deliverer, your Prince, your Captain, your vision, your sight, your beloved, your way, your truth, your life, your author, your finisher, your beiginning, your end, your age, your eternity--your all and all.

Christians don't follow Christianity; they follow Christ.

Christians don't preach themselves; they proclaim Christ.

Christians don't preach about Christ; they simply preach Christ.

Christians don't shout from the rooftops, "Come to church"; they shout form the mountains, "Jesus Christ is born--COME to CHRIST"!

Christians don't point people to core values; a doctrine, traditions, 12-step programs; they point them to the incarnated, crucified, resurected, ascended, enthroned, exalted, triuphant, glorified, reigning Lord--Jesus of Nazareth, the King, the Messiah--the CHRIST beyond the tomb."  "Jesus Manifesto"

JESUS....JESUS.....JESUS....HE is ALL we need to discover who WE REALLY ARE!!

JESUS SAID IT....

I cannot believe it is already June 1, 2017.  I haven't written on here in so long....but been very busy.  GOD has been speaking so much...I hope that we all are listening.   NOW is the time for REFORMATION ...and I believe that Jesus actually came to bring it on.  Christ came to bring about a change from the old covenant of a "worldly sanctuary" (Hebrews 9:1),  to a more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building:...(Hebrews 9:11).  The way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was yet standing: ...it could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience: Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings and carnal ordinances, imposed on them.....UNTIL the time of REFORMATION! (Hebrews 9:8-10).  JESUS CHRIST was our REFORMER of  a NEW and better blood covenant...HE is our HIGH PRIEST (Hebrews 3:1).  It is because of JESUS that we are now the temple of GOD filled with HIS Spirit.  WE are HIS BODY!!  A body of believers!  But are we really believers?? or in unbelief??

I have come to remind us to LISTEN to the words of JESUS!! If JESUS SAID IT....it may be pretty important to pay attention.  JESUS reminded of this in Luke 11:28--"But he said, Yea reather blessed are they that HEAR the word of GOD, and keep it".  Today, we have made Christianity into such a show of entertainment for our own monetary gain, and I believe that JESUS warned us to SEEK HIM ONLY.

As I read the words of Luke 11:29-32, I see words written in red, where Jesus informed us that "an evil generation: they seek a sign, and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet."  THE ONLY SIGN we need is the SON OF MAN (v. 30).  Like Jonah, who was in the belly of hell for 3-days, Jesus died, was buried, ascended into hell,...but HE AROSE and is now seated at the right hand of GOD.

Why are we looking to all the dog and pony shows, with man-manufactured artifacts and signs...and saying YES, NOW I believe!  I have a "supernatural" -- but NOT really--because its man made in a factory--sign??  WHY is JESUS not enough?? WHY do we have to go chasing OTHER signs?? JESUS WARNED US....an EVIL GENERATION will SEEK SIGNS.  If JESUS is NOT ENOUGH....does that mean you are in "UNBELIEF"??  Is your unbelief really proof that you are hardened and departing from the LIVING GOD?? (Hebrews 3:12).

Let us PLEASE get back to SEEKING AFTER the ONLY SIGN we need....JESUS!! He loved us enough to die for us on a cross a gruesome death....JESUS IS ALIVE!! I pray that the words of Jesus really resonate...and I pray that the Son of Man is ALL the SIGN we will ever need!!

HIS LOVE is THE MIRACLE!!

JESUS SAID IT....

What does it mean to "FOLLOW" Jesus?  Does it mean that we take whatever he was opposed to.....a religious, legalistic, ritualistic, man-made, "temple" and political culture...and continue to operate in that same fashion?  OR...could it be that Jesus came to "CHANGE" that culture...the status quo...of how they had been doing "religion" all those years?  Did JESUS come to bring a new "WAY"?  How can we miss it...when we just have to read what Jesus says.  The Religious and Political climate of that day had been perfected by man for SOOO long...that they found it really hard to believe that someone would have enough courage to stand up to their "Business as Ususal"!!

JESUS was pretty straight forward with them.

Let's look at Mark 7...when Jesus came against a "religious tradition of MEN"!

7 Then the Pharisees and some of the scribes came together to Him, having come from Jerusalem. Now when they saw some of His disciples eat bread with defiled, that is, with unwashed hands, they found fault. For the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they wash their hands in a special way, holding the tradition of the eldersWhen they come from the marketplace, they do not eat unless they wash. And there are many other things which they have received and hold, like the washing of cups, pitchers, copper vessels, and couches. Then the Pharisees and scribes asked Him, “Why do Your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands?”He answered and said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written:‘This people honors Me with their lips,But their heart is far from Me.And in vain they worship Me,Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men—the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do.”He said to them, “All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition. 10 For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.’11 But you say, ‘If a man says to his father or mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is Corban”—’ (that is, a gift to God), 12 then you no longer let him do anything for his father or his mother, 13 making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do.”

We see where Jesus "discerned" their heart....that their worship was in "vain" -- pointless.  I believe we see so much "heart-less" worship today, that is simply good entertainment.  He also rebuked them for teaching as doctrine the commandments of men....not much more to elaborate on this statment as it is pretty easy to understand.  In their pride they felt to add their own rules and tradtions to what God wanted.  THUS by doing so....they made "the word of God" ineffective!!  They usurped the "authority" of putting GOD first not only in their worship and teachings, but "SELF" had usurped the throne of their heart that should have been reserved ONLY for GOD himself.

Who do you have on the throne?? And are you giving all GLORY to GOD in all you do???.....

JESUS said it....let us consider it a "warning" to us today to NOT do the same things they did!

When we worship, let it flow straight from our hearts to HIS throne...when we teach, let us not be so proud as to add to or take away what HE has told us...let us reverence the  Word of GOD as our FINAL Authority on any subject.  Let us allow GOD to be FIRST in our lives always....

Prayers...blessings...

JESUS SAID IT....

We all claim to be "JESUS Followers", and we love HIM with ALL of our Heart so much that we never want to disobey HIM or do what is not pleasing in HIS sight.

Would we love him enough to RE-VISIT the word HE wrote in the Gospels?  Would we love him enough to let go of our pride and our need for affirmation through titles, and validation from men through religious institutions that hand out pieces of paper call "Diploma's" that we covet more than the approval of JESUS Himself?  Would we be humble enough to admit that we have been doing church and ministry our way for hundreds of years just based on what man has decided that would work and has been dictated by changes in historical and political culture, INSTEAD of the WORD JESUS actually spoke in giving us direction??  Are we BRAVE ENOUGH to OBEY what JESUS actually told us to do in the WORD?  I would love to CHALLENGE ALL of US...to get back into the New Testament and RE-READ the WORDS of Jesus through a mind that is not using a FILTER based on Denominational Doctrine, or Institutional Education...and really SEE CLEARLY what HE SAID our directions should be.

We have gotten SOOOO FAR away from JESUS being the HEAD and AUTHORITY of the BODY....and desiring a position of "heirarchy at the top" of leadership for ourselves....we have USURPED Christ's position of authority over HIS BODY....HE is the HEAD!!  It is NOT ours to give to other men....and it is certainly NOT ours to take for ourselves.

We read in Matthew 20 the following:

Matthew 20;20 Then the mother of Zebedee’s sons came to Him with her sons, kneeling down and asking something from Him.21 And He said to her, “What do you wish?”She said to Him, “Grant that these two sons of mine may sit, one on Your right hand and the other on the left, in Your kingdom.”22 But Jesus answered and said, “You do not know what you ask. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?”[d]They said to Him, “We are able.”23 So He said to them, “You will indeed drink My cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with;[e] but to sit on My right hand and on My left is not Mine to give, but it is for those for whom it is prepared by My Father.”24 And when the ten heard it, they were greatly displeased with the two brothers. 25 But Jesus called them to Himself and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. 26 Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant.27 And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave—28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

Why are we NOT OBEYING the WORDS of JESUS, and choosing to walk around on our "religious" high-horses, putting ourselve "over our brethren"??  WHY are we walking in such pioty and religious pride that we cannot all submit ourselves one to another???  WHY do we not TRUST that the HOLY SPIRIT is a BETTER LEADER and TEACHER than we are??

This is some food for thought....stay tuned on future blogs and classes....MORE TRUE "JESUS WORDS" to come....

JESUS Said It....

IF Jesus said it, why do we not DO IT?  There are so many things that are in the NT Gospel's that Jesus said, but that we are choosing to ignore.  My question is WHY??  If he left us some divine words of wisdom and instruction why would we continue to ignore it?  I spoke about this in a previous BLOG regarding what Jesus said in Matthew 6 regarding "Secret Ministry".  Why are we so apt to do whatever man has dictacted for years about the way things should be done?

On another note, where does our modern day "church model" come from?  I hear so many say they want a "Book of Acts" church.  Then again, why do we pick and choose based on man-made rituals and tradtions of men that have been around for decades, versus, what the Word of God gave us an example?

The BOOK is "Divine" instruction...is it not?  We see in Acts 2:41-47 an original model of the beginning of the church.  Acts 2:45 really stood out in that they sold their possessions and "parted them to ALL men, as every man had need".  WHERE is there a church that gives to ALL that have a need?  Again we see in acts 4:32-37 this same concept.  The needs of others were met.  In verse 34 it stats that "Neither was there ANY among them that LACKED"....there was NO LACK!!  And in verse 35 we see that if you were an "Apostle" you were responsible for the stewardship and that you were to "distribute unto EVERY MAN according as he had need".  If this is the model, why are the so called "Apostolic Churches" and "Apostles" not heeding this instruction??

Instead I have seen large successful churches with loyal members who give to the church but are still experiencing lack, while the Pastor's family live in huge homes and drive expensive cars??  Why is there a single mother in their church asking for prayer regarding getting her kids into an apartment while working as a waitress, and the Pastor will pray...but the member of the church still has LACK.  All the while, the Pastor's young kids are driving brand new luxury cars?

Does NO ONE pay attention to what is in the word as our instruction.

I am learning to pray for and love even these ministers that are "immature" in heart, as they are still the kids of the King.

Jesus is coming back for a bride that has been made ready.  I pray that those who are just doing what they have always done based on "Man's Model", get a heart change and learn to just walk in the heart of JESUS, this includes myself.

Let us all treat each other as we would want to be treated....

HUMBLING to know that even I (LOL) still have so many things to grow in...including LOVING OTHERS as Christ loves them.
